our English Springer Spaniel. She was born August 3, 2008, she’s liver & white (Auburn brown and white), she has green eyes and weighs in at 7 pounds. Oh, and did I mention she has that sweet puppy breath? It’s the best! We picked her up from the Burlington, VT airport on Friday, September 26th. She traveled by plane from Tillamook, Oregon and did a great job! We are working on her potty/crate training and she is doing super! Here are some pics from the airport and our first full day with her at our house in Chelsea, VT the next day. Will update with more photos soon – excuse me, time to run, I need my puppy fix!

The fall season is finally here! Crisp air, breezy and surprisingly, the leaves are already changing colors! I LOVE this time of year (September and October). Only wish it lasted longer. The temps today are perfect – 68 and sunny – gotta love it! I’m looking forward to hitting all the fall harvest festivals and apple and pumpkin picking. And as my daughter likes to say….”I’m so excited I just can’t hold my horses!”
I had a nice birthday two weeks ago. I won’t say how old, but it was nice. My oldest son, Tony, surprised me and came home from college for my b-day dinner, so that was special. My other college son, Nick, wasn’t able to make it but it was nice to chat with him over the phone.
Today is Tony’s 21st birthday. He is so excited – finally 21. We celebrated his b-day two weeks ago when he was home for mine because this weekend for his b-day his girlfriend, Meghan, had plans for the big 21. They are in Boston this weekend and having a fantastic time, no doubt. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tone, we love you and are thinking of you!!
