A nice visit and college tour numero uno
October 15th, 2009 by Paula

I’m looking back on the date….ewww, September 29th.  What’s today?  Ewww, October 15th.  Where’s the last two weeks gone?  Between my merger with Mamapalooza, Inc, for Mamazina Magazine, house guests and preparing for college tours, I’m a little behind.  I feel like I haven’t been here forever, and now I know why.  I haven’t.

I had a great visit with my oldest son, Tony, and his girlfriend, Meghan this past weekend.  They decided to head over to Vermont for some autumn colors.  We spent one of the days at a fall festival in Stowe, Vermont and also walked the village of Stowe, which got us hungry with all that exercise so we decided to get some dinner at a nice restaurant.  We lucked out, it was a gorgeous day and the meal and acoustic guitar player were fabulous.

So we are on our way to my third son’s first college tour.  His major is music and so we are applying to like 10 different colleges and universities with music schools.  Our first stop – SUNY Potsdam in Potsdam ,NY which is in the Adirondacks. Beautiful area and great music school but Phillip is concerned about the winters there.  He is not a frigid weather kinda guy.  Next week we’ll be hanging in Massachusetts as we have three tours in the Boston area – Berklee, UMASS, and Clark University.

Just call me the traveling mama!  Really, you can.

Oh, and I want to say “HI” to my blog readers in the Barre, Vermont area.  So nice to see you stop by and visit my blog every week  :)

Ciao!
